Terms of service
The agreement between your restaurant and Dishventory.
These terms apply when you use Dishventory, the restaurant management software at dishventory.com. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.
1. Your account
- You must be able to enter into a contract on behalf of your business, and the details you give us must be accurate.
- The person who signs up is the owner of the account. Managers, cashiers and other staff logins are created by the owner, who decides what each of them may do.
- You are responsible for what happens under your logins, so keep passwords private and remove staff who leave.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has gained access to your account.
2. Free trial
New accounts start with a 30-day free trial. No card is required, because we do not take card payments at all. When the trial ends you can choose a plan; if you do not, the rules in section 5 apply.
3. Plans and limits
- Current plans and prices are on the pricing page, in Pakistani rupees. Yearly billing is charged at ten times the monthly price, so two months are free.
- Each plan includes limits, such as how many branches, managers, POS logins and products you may have. The software enforces these: once you reach a limit, adding more is refused until you move to a larger plan.
- Some features belong to particular plans. The pricing page states which.
- To change plan, request it from the My Plan page and our team applies it.
- If you move to a smaller plan, nothing of yours is deleted. You keep what you already have, but cannot add beyond the new plan's limits.
4. Payment
- Payment is by bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Our team records your payment and your subscription is extended from that point.
- Prices exclude any taxes or bank charges that apply to the transfer.
- We may change prices. Existing customers will be told at least 30 days before a change affects their renewal.
5. When a subscription ends
Nothing is deleted when a subscription lapses. Access changes in steps:
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Active | Full access to everything your plan includes. |
| Grace period (7 days after the end date) | You can still sign in and read your data, but cannot record new orders or changes. |
| Locked (after the grace period) | The account is locked apart from signing in, your profile and renewing. Your data is kept, waiting for you. |
Renewing restores full access immediately.
6. Refunds
Because a full 30-day trial is available before you pay, fees for a period that has started are not refundable. If we have charged you in error, or the service was unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, contact us and we will put it right.
7. Your data
- Your business data stays yours. You can export reports and lists to CSV and PDF at any time.
- You give us permission to store and process that data in order to provide the service.
- You are responsible for the data you enter, including having the right to hold your customers' and staff members' details.
- Our administrators may sign in to your account to support you. Every such sign-in is recorded.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law with the service, or use it to store unlawful content;
- resell or rent access without our written agreement;
- attempt to break into the system, other accounts, or bypass the limits of your plan;
- overload or interfere with the service, or copy it by automated means.
9. Tax and legal compliance
Dishventory can report invoices to FBR or a provincial authority where you have registered and enabled it. Configuring it correctly, and the accuracy of what you record, remain your responsibility, as does your compliance with tax, employment and food safety law. We provide software, not tax or legal advice.
10. Availability and support
- We work to keep the service running, but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and factors outside our control can interrupt it.
- Support is available by WhatsApp and email on every plan. Enterprise adds phone support and a dedicated account manager.
- We may add, change or remove features as the product develops. We will not remove something central to your plan without notice.
11. Suspension and cancellation
- You may stop using Dishventory at any time by not renewing, or by asking us to close your account.
- We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or whose fees remain unpaid. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
- After closure we keep your data for a limited period so it can be restored if you return, then delete it. Ask us and we will delete it sooner.
12. Liability
The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or lost data, or for indirect losses. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Keep your own records of anything critical to your business.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when, and we will notify account holders of significant changes. Continuing to use Dishventory after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
15. Contact us
Email dishventory@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp 0304-8588555.
These terms are a plain-English starting point written from how Dishventory actually works. They are not legal advice; have a lawyer review them before relying on them in a dispute.
